Frontend Developer
About the position
The Frontend Developer will build and improve responsive web experiences used by customers and internal teams. The role combines interface development, accessibility, performance optimization, and close collaboration with designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders. The successful candidate will turn product requirements and design concepts into maintainable interfaces while paying attention to usability across desktop and mobile devices. This position is part of Bluewater Customer Solutions's customer support operations in Canada. The successful candidate will work with colleagues and stakeholders connected to the company's Remote operations and will be expected to contribute to dependable day-to-day service delivery while following established processes and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Build responsive interfaces using modern frontend development practices.
- Translate product and design requirements into accessible user experiences.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and application services.
- Investigate interface issues and improve performance, reliability, and usability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend engineering standards.
Qualifications
- Professional experience building modern web applications.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript and browser fundamentals.
- Experience with React or a comparable component-based framework.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with a distributed team.
- Comfortable working with Git and collaborative development workflows.
